Dunton VC Lower School PFA Playground Fund

We would like to fully equip the new playground, including all weather flooring, once the classroom building works are completed.
About this cause
We are the PTA for Dunton VC Lower School. We raise funds to support the school paying for items such as coaches for school trips, iPads, reading books, playground equipment etc. We are a small school (70 children/50 families) so it is a very small but committed committee with a limited resource pool. The school is currently undergoing refurbishment with new classrooms being built, this means we will be fundraising for new equipment for the playground which will soon be where the classrooms set to be demolished are... the kind of equipment we are hoping to put in place will take 3-4 years of fundraising! We run Christmas & summer fayres, cake sales, secondhand book & uniform sales, discos, pamper nights etc.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The equipment and project planned will be used on a daily basis by all the children at the school with all different interests being planned for so there is something to appeal to all of the children. Everything will be good quality and will last for many many years to come impacting hundreds of children.
