About this cause
We are a friendly community based playgroup in the hub of Tetbury town. Our priority is the all round development of toddlers and pre-schoolers within a caring, nurturing environment. We pride ourselves on our high standards and the high level of quality care we provide and also provide a Baby and Toddler group on a Monday morning for all local parents and carers to attend with their little ones. St Mary's Playgroup is held in Christ Church Hall and is a 'pack away playgroup' which has been running for over 40 years! We are passionate about providing a learning environment that is exciting, but also allows space for the children to initiate their own learning. We are also privileged to have access to the outside area at St Mary's School where we run weekly Forest School sessions.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We currently have 30 children on role who would immediately benefit from these changes as we use tables, chairs and mats every day. It would provide safer and more comfortable seating as well as a nicer mat for them to enjoy sitting, lying and jumping on (each morning we have 'wake n shake' on the mat!) every single day!
