We want to buy an outdoor classroom to improve access to outdoor learning which benefits physical emotional health and social skills.
About this cause
To work in partnership with the school to create a welcoming school, which is inclusive for all parents. To promote partnership between the school, its pupils and all its parents, to develop and engage in activities which support the education and welfare of the pupils. To identify and represent the views of parents on the education provided by the school and other matters affecting the education and welfare of the pupils.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The outdoor classroom would be available to the other established community groups such as the scouts/guides out of school hours. We are also looking to develop the classroom as part of the community garden project where this would be a focal point for trips to the forest and the community garden not just for our kids but for partnership schools too.
