We want to convert an old room into a library in the school and fill it with books.
About this cause
We are the PTA that raise funds for a small rural school to provide them with extras that aren't covered by government funding. Amongst other things, we have built an outside classroom and we help fund the school trips the classes take each year. We also recently funded an art week that included music, painting and willow weaving. This is run entirely voluntarily, by the parents and teachers of the school.
How this cause brings people in the community together
There are between 15 and 30 children each year joining Brockhampton Primary School. What we are trying to achieve is not just for the children currently at the school (150 approx inc pre-school) but for children for years and even generations to use and enjoy.
