Beechtree Community Centre

We would like to purchase a greenhouse to develop the community garden to enable the volunteers to plant seeds and nurture them.
About this cause
We are a small independent community centre with 7 part time employees and upward of 50 volunteers, we receive no statutory funding and are reliant upon a small income from room hire and grants for specific projects. The centre was established in 2003 and is based on the community hospital site, the services and social interaction groups are provided in a direct response from the needs of the local community.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The project helps the community by educating about healthy eating, promoting recycling and budgeting, whilst also encouraging physical activity and social interaction.
