We want to replace toys and improve the quality of our provision for young people and their carers.
About this cause
We are a community centre providing rooms for various local groups including toddler group, scouts, job club, martial arts and children's drama group. We would be looking for funding to primarily support the toddler group. This group runs on 3 mornings a week, provides opportunities for children to play with toys they may not have at home, with their peers and learn about sharing. We also act as a social group for carers providing a chance to get out of the house and meet other carers.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We encourage young parents and carers to come with their children to help them mix with their peers and for adults to get to know each other and know if they need support or help there would always be someone to listen.The community centre needs to keep being used and we are there 3 morning a week and have different adults and children on different days.
