We need funding to place a defibrillator into the community of Stone.
About this cause
AEDdonate is a charity formed to place defibrillators into communities across the UK. We have even placed units onto some Coop Stores. Defibrillators are placed into communities so that the public can gain quick and easy access to them after calling 999 and the public can use an AED prior to the ambulance service arriving. The survival rate of a patient without early defibrillation is around 4% but the survival rates increase to 75% with early access to a defibrillator. We assist the community to fund one, we then supply the machine, the cabinet, community training sessions and liaise with the ambulance service to ensure they can be dispatched in an emergency situation. So far our charity has placed over 850 defibrillators into communities.
