St Andrews Church Hall

About this cause

We try to give to the community all the help we can. In our hall we have a Tuesday lunch free to anyone who attends with tea and coffee. For some of the older people this is a great way for them to meet people and have good food. We have the scouts in our hall and a sewing group and also a keep fit group. The only other hall in Silloth is closing and their groups will come to us, Guides, Brownies and also a Tots Group. We have Bingo for prizes and cream teas and evening entertainment with meals. However, the hall is desperate for decorating and the male and female toilets also need decorated. With so many using our hall we wish to have it as nice as possible but find it hard to raise the funds to do this with the Church having other problems, such as dry rot, bad windows etc.
