We would like to refurbish our classroom and outdoor space and take the children on a day trip to Whitehouse Farm.
About this cause
Our playgroup is a not for profit organisation and serves pre-school children and their families in the local Whitley Bay community through a mixture of government-funded and private child places. We are devoted to providing the highest quality pre-school education for children in the Whitley Bay area. Our priority is to support our children and their families as they make an exciting and fun start on their lifelong journey of learning. We are passionate about our children learning through play, nurturing their imaginations and ultimately enjoying themselves in a safe, enjoyable and stimulating environment. Our motto is that playgroup is a place where 'learning is fun'!
How this cause brings people in the community together
This project will enable us to continue supporting local families meet their childcare needs and provide children with varied opportunities for play and learning in a safe, nurturing and creative environment. Children and families who use our playgroup go on to develop friendships and build local community support networks to look after each other as their children grow.
