REFLECT Child Bereavement Service
Health
We'll spend the money on counsellors and any resources they need to support the Hospice of the Good Shepherd's Child Bereavement Service.
About this cause
The Hospice of the Good Shepherd is a respected provider of palliative care for residents of Cheshire West and Chester and Deeside. We provide services free of charge to patients and families facing life limiting illnesses. We provide an in-patient unit, out-patient services, a day therapy centre and offer complimentary therapies and bereavement support throughout the community. Our dedicated team of staff and healthcare professionals are available to help patients, friends, families and carers through difficult and painful times and provide practical, emotional, social and spiritual support. Less than a third of our £4 million annual running costs come from government funding. The remainder is generated through fundraising, donations, events and corporate partnerships.
