About this cause

Teenad flavour is a self-help community group consisting of people who have been through the asylum process and have been granted either refugee status or indefinite leave to remain in Britain. The group was established in 2014 to support the BME community including refugees. For refugees, integrating into a new country can be challenging task, especially if they do not speak the language, understand the local bureaucracy, or have a social network that can help them; that is why we created the

Project presents and opportunity to empower over 50s and other disadvantaged people and from all communities in Ashton to reduce isolation . To provide and assist in the provision of education and, training and stone carving activities for over 50s in Tameside; by giving them opportunity to contribute to their local community, feeling heard, valued as responsible citizens and enjoy.
