Money would go to keeping costs down for juniors and towards training lights to enable us to train outside all year.
About this cause
Promote the playing and partaking in the sport of Rugby Union to all young people in the area. We cater for Juniors, aged between 5 and 15 (both sexes) and Seniors at 18 plus and try to keep subscriptions as low as possible. We try to pass on the ethos of the sport with emphasis on discipline, respect and tolerance of others and fair play. We have Codes of Conduct which are adhered to. We also have a Social side which caters for all ages. Over 60's have free membership. We run fund raising events for local and National charities. If we are successful with this application the money will be spent on our Juniors and some ground improvement work we want to do.
How this cause brings people in the community together
By ensuring that our young players are taught the values that our sport requires and as such become better behaved, respectful, tolerant, well rounded adults.
