Eternal Benefits
Community Development
Help us facilitate activities, trips and meals that will bring our community together, from the youngest to eldest.
About this cause
Eternal Benefits exists to help the most deprived residents of The Quadrant in North Hull. Our aim is to encourage all ages, but especially children, elderly and those struggling with any form of hardship, live to their full potential. EB has many gathering activities, ranging from individual support, small groups, clubs, events and fun evenings attracting up to 300 residents a night. We make every effort to include more isolated ethnic groups by facilitating English classes and a meeting place for local travelers. We run a community kitchen for cooking lessons , a community allotment, a community cafe, and a charity 'Swap Shop', which handles all essential items needed to make a home. When necessary we give the furniture away. Our premises are an original 1930's Co op building
How this cause brings people in the community together
The Quadrant community is within the 3% most deprived in the country. EB has been established bringing activities of RESPECT for over 25 years. The three local areas of concern are toward bored, anti social teens, the isolated elderly and racial abuse toward other nationalities moving into our community. These bigger issues we address continually but we also focus on the overlooked individual
