1st Isles of Scilly Brownies

We want to buy a shed and take the brownies away for a day trip to Paradise Park in Hayle.
About this cause
The Brownies are 7-10 year old girls, part of girl guiding. We get the girls involved in community projects every year. We litter pick every year for the World Gig Championships, we have also helped run various fund raisers including raising money to set up a new orchard and helping to raise money for the local horse riding centre. We encourage the girls to give something back into their community. My role as leader is to teach them to be independent, teach them life skills and get them to realise the importance of team work. We are looking to buy a shed to keep all our equipment in and also we are hoping to take them for a day trip to the mainland to visit the Paradise Park in Hayle as part of their Friend to Animals badge.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Having the shed will mean we can have more equipment and tents. This means we will be able to run more camps for this age group. Having the trip away means girls get the opportunity to visit an animal and bird sanctuary which we do not have on the Isles of Scilly.
