We want to create some digital resources to make sure every young person knows the common signs and symptoms of cancer.
About this cause
Cancer kills more young people than any other disease. CATS aims to make sure every young person knows the common signs and symptoms of cancer and when to go and see their GP. We run events for students within the university and run awareness workshops in local business' outside the university setting. We like to be short and snappy, so all our information goes out on beer mats and on social media.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Last year over 1000 people in Manchester attended a CATS event. This year we want to go even bigger, and produce digital resources, such as animations, to use at these events and online, to make sure we can reach as many young people in Manchester as possible!
