Vale Wildlife Hospital Big Build
Animal Welfare
We want to replace our existing wildlife hospital with a new veterinary hospital with training centre and student accommodation included.
About this cause
Founded in 1984, Vale Wildlife Hospital takes in, treats and rehabilitates over 4,500 wild animal casualties every year with our aim being to successfully release animals back into their natural environment as soon as they are 100% fit. We have a purpose built hospital with full veterinary facilities. We rely entirely on public donations to fund the work that we do and with running costs of over £30,000 per month, raising the necessary funds is a mammoth task. Our dream is to eventually replace our existing hospital with a brand new Wildlife Hospital with education and training facilities and temporary accommodation for students on work placements with us.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We only exist because of public demand. people want to help injured wildlife and we are the only wildlife hospital in the area - we receive casualties from 5 counties and we help people on the telephone from all over the UK and from other countries.
