We want to upgrade our shower facilities to enable all ages to use them after both matches and training.
About this cause
We are a family friendly club with 4 teams in the Saturday Shepherd Neame Essex League, and a Sunday friendly side. We also run a number of junior teams ranging between 11-19 years. We welcome members of all ages and abilities from across the local community and beyond, including a with our juniors playing a mix of friendly and competitive games throughout the season and train every Thursday in the Summer. Juniors aged 6 and above can join in our sessions, with a mixture or hard and soft ball training. Our training sessions are run by ECB qualified coaches and we encourage new members to come and play throughout the year. Founded in 1884, the club has two pitches, outdoor nets, changing facilities and space for social events. This is also hired out other local clubs/societies.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our clubhouse and ground is available for hire to other sports clubs and for social events. Having this project will allow us to promote the facilities for greater use within the local community, including schools.
