Friends of Glen Park Primary School PTA

About this cause

I am the Treasurer of Friends PTA. We are a group of parents who run fun events for the children and their families throughout the year to raise money to provide our children with extra equipment that the school's budget cannot provide. We run Fair's, Disco's, Bingo Night's and Christmas events as well as supporting the school with help and support as needed. We are always striving to find new ways of raising money and fresh ideas. This year we have provided our Foundation classes with interactive whiteboards which would have not been possible without our donation. The children have benefitted enormously. We are aiming to equip the whole school eventually with these valuable pieces of technology so that all children can benefit, but to do that we need to raise lots of money.
