We want to take 100 of our members on a free holiday and to fund transport to our Wednesday Club for all members.
About this cause
. “I AM PHAB”s aim is to end loneliness & social isolation for able & disabled folk. We also promote and encourage people of all abilities to come together on equal terms, to achieve complete inclusion within the community. We started off this year, with cap in hand to raise money for our club, with the sole aim of taking our members (Over 100+) on a free holiday to Pontins, We are now raising Funds to take 45 of our members to Bendrig Lodge in November, we also run a community Hub offering retail experience for our members enabling them to work in our Charity shop they in turn gain an NVQ Qualification at no cost to themselves, We run our Wednesday club each week offering Tea and a chat and entertainment which differs week by week, Taequondo, music workshops, deaf choir, Zumba, Quiz's.
How this cause brings people in the community together
This will encourage members to come to club Join in with friends along with their carers it will encourage people to meet people in similar situations as themselves, the shop and community hub encourages the local community to join in our activities via a weekly message board on Facebook and our webpage
