About this cause

i am a member/parent of the PTA at this local Special needs School and we raise vital funds to enable the children to have opportunities to gain life and social skills which are often more expensive to access due to adaptive equipment and specialist training. We try to allow the children to access things other children take for granted such as skiing,netball,football etc.We also support the children with social gatherings which they wouldn't be able to access normally due to their specialist needs and specialist staff needed.The children get so much out of accessing these things as families find it difficult to include their children in mainstream activities and this is really important for our children to mix with their friends in familiar surroundings.
