We would love to buy a football cage and buy the equipment base we currently hire a lot.
About this cause
We are a youth club, serving young people of our area in Caversham. We are a large event serving numbers of nearly 50 young people every other week. We run three different rooms: a high energy room changing every time, we've done things like inflatables, nerf arena and obstacle courses. We have a medium energy room, with sports tables, video games and a milkshake bar for purchase. We also have a low energy room, with beanbags, board games and brilliant company Our aim is to create a relevant place where young people can come build relationships, meet great role models and have a lot of fun.
How this cause brings people in the community together
In our area in Caversham, there is little or no youth work that happens outside of what we do. For myself, growing up, I knew the importance of a youth club for my development and because of that, we want to invest in young people, making a place to meet great role models, develop socially and also as a SYNC team helping those who struggle with depression, self-image, etc.
