Wickwood Campsite

We're raising funds towards the rebuild of the girl guiding's campsite in Windsor Great Park including a new kitchen.
About this cause
We are a girl lead organisation that is girls from 5 years to 18 years enjoy activities and adventure with other girls. We run as a uniformed youth organisation helping girls find themselves and develop in a safe and nurturing environment. Our girls meet each week and take part in craft, games, cooking etc as planned alongside our Guiding values. At the moment the girls are missing out on camping and outdoor activities at our campsite as our building was deemed unsafe and has been dismantled, we are raising funds to replace the building including disabled facilities which will enable our out door area to be enjoyed by all.
How this cause brings people in the community together
With over 600 girls in our local guiding , all groups will have access to the building, not just for meetings, but to camp and learn about the world around us. we also have several local scouting groups that make use of the site each year, plus other guiding groups from outside the Windsor area. It has over 1000 visitors each year.
