Money will provide the homeless with a safe place where they can get advice, showers, clean clothes, hot meals and socialise together.
About this cause
Foxhole Community Association is local organisation run entirely by volunteers our main aims and objectives are to provide accessibility and affordable community space for local people to use and hire a private parties. To provide activities for local residents particularly the young and elderly people within the community. To provide a non-religious, non- political mutual safe community space/building where people can just come together and meet new people regardless of race, beliefs or views. We try to provide as many activities as possible to improve the quality of life for all the local residents within our area. We work very closely with the local school and offered training and support for many of the parents.
How this cause brings people in the community together
A project is already running & has an amazing impact on the homeless just giving them the opportunity to have somewhere safe to come where they can socialise, play pool, watch TV, get clean and showered and have a Hot meal amongst friends. Many of them have told us already how they look forward to just that one evening when they don't have to worry about being on the streets for a couple of hours.
