About this cause

The organisation works with people of all ages who have experienced an impact on their wellbeing, empowering individuals, their family and friends, whose life experiences have had a negative impact on their psychological or emotional wellbeing to live a full and healthy life, free from the long-term effects of this impact. We offer holistic support including counselling, advocacy, groups, art therapy, play therapy, EMDR, befriending and informal support. Our objectives are:  openness and transparency in our process of working  being a learning and developing organisation  a community based approach  monitoring and evaluation to ensure effective and responsive services  partnership working with other agencies  adverse life experiences can be spoken about, understood and eradicated.

How this cause brings people in the community together

Many young people who have experienced bullying don't attend school and they lose hope in achievement often leading to them becoming involved in substance misuse and anti social behaviour as could those involved in bullying others. This project will give out positive messages and create hope leading to improved prospects for young people benefiting their families and the whole community
