About this cause

The charity supports and administers both the community library and the village magazine. The library provides a service to the area through lending of books and jigsaws and provision of public computers every day of the week, except Sunday. It also is a space for people to come and read the papers, take part in Knit and Knatter, and for children to enjoy Story time. It holds community events and provides a library for school classes over and above what is available at the school. It runs the National Summer Reading Challenge for 4 - 11 year old children along with a purpose designed one for pre school children. The quarterly village magazine, delivered to all households, is both informative and includes village life stories along with publicity for local organisations and businesses.

How this cause brings people in the community together

The whole community benefits if its children are provided with resources to grow and develop.
