About this cause
Sanderstead Neighbourhood Care is a local charity who aim to help anyone living in Sanderstead and Hamsey Green who is either vulnerable, elderly, housebound, frail or otherwise in need. We help by taking people shopping, getting people to hospital and befriending. We also run a fortnightly social club called The Young At Heart Club, where a light lunch is provided. Members are entertained by a speaker, singer etc.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Without us people who need our help would not get to hospital appointments, access choice of food and face isolation. Local volunteers help us by driving, helping at the lunch club and befriending the housebound.
