We would like to purchase some weather tight storage for the Youth Theatre so the equipment they have is kept safe and dry.
About this cause
Darton Darby & Joan Club was founded in 1954 to provide facilities for recreation and leisure in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life of residents in the Darton Area. It provides a hall for Community use for groups such as Youth Theatre, Old Peoples Afternoon Club, Health sessions, holiday club etc.
How this cause brings people in the community together
It will enable us to put on shows for the community, The benefits will then be to all ages the young people performing and the community to watch. The storage would be erected by volunteers. It will benefit other groups as the room for storage is minimal and would free up space in the hall.
