We'd like to extend our coaching and umpiring team to increase the number of sessions and get more people involved with netball locally.
About this cause
Our Footloose Netball Club was created back in 2009 to offer social and competitive netball for our local community in Chichester, West Sussex. Our club offers members the chance to be active, make friends, have fun and be part of a community. In 2019, we launched our junior division and we have plans to continue to grow our sessions to provide a pathway for a lifetime of netball.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We believe that the Covid-19 pandemic will impact people's mental health and ability to get involved with team activities. The provision of additional coaches and sessions will enable us to adapt and continue to deliver netball in our community. Our coaches are currently undertaking mental health awareness training and we hope that playing netball will bring many benefits to peoples lives.
