About this cause
Radiant Cleaners is a Social Enterprise UK-registered cleaning company that creates supported employment opportunities for those who ordinarily struggle to get work. We give people a step up when others will not, providing jobs that pay the Real Living Wage for people who may have, among other things, been in prison, homeless, suffered domestic abuse or struggled with addictions. We offer an ‘easy entry’ recruitment system and go the extra mile to enable our staff to maintain their employment, developing a support plan that encourages their independence at work over time. This includes mentor relationships that help address any broader life issues, support from experienced team leaders, and a supportive team environment. To date 100% of profits have been reinvested in our social purpose.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Radiant Cleaners employs people who may have been in prison, homeless, suffered domestic abuse or struggled with addictions. These factors can not only be a barrier to finding employment but often lead to isolation and loneliness. Radiant Cleaners' jobs offer the chance to work alongside colleagues in a supportive team environment and enjoy work socials too.
