About this cause
St Michael and All Angels is a welcoming and inclusive community-based church in Cottingley, Bradford. Our vision is to reach out to the local community, providing opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to join our activities and groups. St Michael's is at the heart of the Cornerstone Centre - a community centre that brings a positive difference to the people of Cottingley and the surrounding area. Our desire is to maintain a thriving centre that brings a positive difference, in both mind and body, to people of all ages. Community involvement and volunteers are integral to the Church and the Centre’s success. We aim to make our church a 'place of welcome' where everyone has a place to go for a friendly face, a cup of tea and a conversation if and when they need it.
How this cause brings people in the community together
All Sorts will provide much needed activity for families and people of all ages. Based on creativity, hospitality and celebration, the sessions will embrace the community and bring families together by providing a space for people to join together. Free entry will enable the session to be accessible to all. Families will enjoy a meal together. Session will provide sense of belonging and inclusion.
